Hello Wine Sense Members!
What a wonderful meeting we had last week with our new Bordeaux friend, Dewey! Thanks to all who came and waited patiently to try the delicious selection he brought to teach us about. We had a great time learning with you all and appreciate all the participation and interest everyone showed. Dewey was certainly happy to answer all our questions! For those who couldn’t attend, please note that not everyone showed up and we had extra space. Therefore, we recommend RSVPing anyways so you can get a spot when others are unable to come. Turned out, he brought WAY more wine than we were originally told, so we apologize for the original limit we had.
PLEASE DON’T FORGET ABOUT OUR FUNDRAISER THIS THURSDAY 5-11pm at LOBOS!
Since we’d love to bring new ideas and trips your way, please help us by coming to LOBOS pub this Thursday, October 16th and buy a beer or two with us! We will be giving away wine glasses to those who come find us and all fundraising will go back to YOU! This helps keep our costs low, provide field trips, prizes, and gifts for the speaker, and new opportunities to come your way. We hope to see you all there, so bring your friends and come have a good time with us!!
Korbel Field Trip: CANCELLED :( :( :(
We are sorry that we did not catch this sooner, but the Korbel Trip is the same day as the Constellation Brand (major wine/alcohol distributors) Open House in San Francisco. Since it is an excellent opportunity for many of you who are interested in the wine business and industry, we’d like to keep the day open so we can attend this special event instead. If you’d still like to do a trip to Korbel on another day, email Christina at email@example.com and we can plan another time to visit.
We will be planning for several trips in the SPRING semester, including a Meadery, Korbel, and a nursery, so these will events not to miss.
